CONCRETE ADMIXTURES
TECHFLOW® SP200
TechFlow® SP200 is a liquid, water-reducing and retarding admixture for concrete that has been specifically formulated to minimize water requirements within concrete. This product can be used in pre-stressed concrete or in concrete that contains aluminum or zinc imbedded in it. Air-entraining agents, water proofers, and calcium chloride can be mixed with this product, but they must be combined separately. TechFlow® SP200 complies with IS 9103:1999 as well as ASTM C-494 Type B, D & G. The product comes in a 250 kg plastic container. Dosage: (0.5 – 1.5)% by weight of cement depending upon the mix design.
TECHNOCRETE® BCN 30
TechnoCrete® BCN30 is a hi-tech concentrated bipolar concrete penetrating corrosion inhibiting admixture that protects rebars from corrosion induced by chloride ions as well as due to carbonation of concrete. The migration of TechnoCrete® BCN30 takes place over a prolonged period of time and hence this molecular layer shall continue to protect steel reinforcement by its constant presence. TechnoCrete® BCN30 is not only active in contact with the steel, but also migrates through the concrete porosity to reach the reinforcement to inhibit anodic and cathodic corrosion processes.
STERLING® TECHNOPLAST -A
STERLING® TECHNOPLAST -A is a liquid concrete admixture that accelerates concrete set time and increases its plasticity in accordance with ASTM C494 Type E and IS:9103-1999. With STERLING® TECHNOPLAST-A, concrete mixes are set and hardened faster, resulting in higher early strength and speedier construction. As a result of using STERLING® TECHNOPLAST-A, you are able to reduce the water content of your concrete or mortar without affecting its workability. As a result, the concrete has improved properties, reduced segregation risk, and increased density and compressive strength, enabling it to be highly impervious and durable.
TechnoCrete AF 100
TechnoCrete® AF100 is a multi-component, chloride free liquid antifreeze admixture and water-reducing accelerator used for protecting concrete from frost under low temperature by fast curing properties. TechnoCrete® AF100 promotes higher early and ultimate strengths; especially in concrete exposed to temperatures below freezing. Concrete placed in colder weather with TechnoCrete® AF100 is able to maintain normal set times without the introduction of chloride-bearing components.
TechnoCrete® CW103
TechnoCrete® CW103 is a ready-to-use, liquid accelerating and water reducing admixture for producing concrete in cold weather. TechnoCrete® CW103 improves properties of plastic and hardened concrete, provides a significant improvement in early stiffening and setting characteristics in general and especially under cold weather, improved workability and decreased bleeding and segregation. TechnoCrete® CW103 is compatible with air-entraining admixtures and other Techno Builders Solutions® range of super plasticizers, and water reducing admixtures. TechnoCrete® CW 103 does not contain any added chloride ions ensuring that the product does not contribute to the corrosion of reinforcing steel.
ConFlow® 6160
Sterling ConFlow® 6160 is a retarding super plasticizing admixture of a new generation based on modified polycarboxylic ether for concrete that has been formulated to provide increase working time & better workability, higher durability & reduce shrinkage and permeability. Sterling ConFlow® 6160 does not contain calcium chloride or other potential corroding materials; therefore, it may be used in pre stressed concrete or in the presence of aluminium or zinc embedment’s. It is compatible with air-entraining agents, water proofers and calcium chloride, but they must be added separately to the mix.
ROCKSET® AF
Rockset® AF is an alkali-free non-toxic liquid high performance Set Accelerator, specifically designed for wet-mix and dry-mix Sprayed Concrete processes in the tunneling and mining industry. The product is applied where initial ground support is needed or where a permanent lining has been designed (such as for single-shell tunnel lining). Rockset® AF may also be used to accelerate cementitious based grouts for TBM tunnel lining backfilling and ground stabilization works. By adjusting the dosage, setting times and rebound can be reduced providing a safe and efficient work environment
CONFlOW® RS300
ConFlow® RS300 is a new generation of admixture that is based on modified polycarboxylic ether (MPCE). As a high performance concrete additive, ConFlow® RS300 is primarily designed for applications requiring the highest durability and performance. While maintaining control over the extent of set retardation, it allows considerable reduction of mixing water. There is no chloride present in ConFlow® RS300, and it is low in alkali as well. It is compatible with all types of cement. ConFlow® RS300 complies with IS 9103:1999, and ASTM C-494 Type G & is available in 225 Kg HDPE plastic container.
STERLING® PRIME-O-PACK
Sterling® Prime-O-Pack is a prepackaged factory quality controlled dry powdered pump primer and pumping aid, supplied for ready-to-use, pre-weighed pouches. It is a unique compound of high performance components, which offers superlative cost reductions by saving time and protecting pumps and pipes. Additionally, Sterling® Prime-O-Pack functions as a concrete pumping aid by reducing line pressure, which enables the placement of hard to pump mixes and increasing the range of pumpability. Sterling® Prime-O-Pack is also environmentally safe and compatible with all conventional concrete materials.
TECHNOFINISH® CONKURE 201 WB
TechnoFinish® ConKure 201 –WB is a water based curing compound formulated from selected emulsified paraffins to form a low viscosity wax emulsion. TechnoFinish® ConKure 201 –WB is supplied as a white liquid which forms a wet white film when applied to concrete surfaces. This dries to form transparent film which retains sufficient moisture in the concrete to ensure full hydration of the cement, which is essential for optimum strength development. TechnoFinish® ConKure 201 –WB is applied to fresh concrete surfaces to form a fast dry, thin flexible and tough, impervious membrane which protects the concrete from rapid water evaporation during initial curing stages, thereby assisting towards obtaining maximum strength, durability, assists in the retention of water during hydration and helping towards the elimination of shrinkage cracks and surface dusting.
ConFlow® PC 7157
Sterling ConFlow® PC 7157 is a new generation admixture based on the latest generation polycarboxylic ether polymer with high early strength gains, with long side chains and short main chains specially designed to enable the water content of the concrete to perform more effectively. This effect can be used to greatly improve cement dispersion and as well as facilitate the quick start of the hydration process. At the start of the mixing process, an electrostatic dispersion occurs but the cement particles capacity to separate and disperse. This mechanism considerably reduces the water demand in flowable concrete.
ConFlow® RP 3636
Sterling ConFlow® RP 3636 is an admixture of a new generation based on modified polycarboxylic ether. Sterling ConFlow® RP 3636 has been primarily developed for applications in high performance concrete where the highest durability and performance is required. It allow considerable reduction of mixing water while maintaining control on extend of set retardation. Sterling ConFlow® RP 3636 is free of chloride & low alkali and is compatible with all types of cements.
TECHNOCEM® MICROSILICA
TechnoCem® MicroSilica is a ready to use powdered (silica fume) concrete admixture composed of silicon dioxide (SiO2), collected from silicon metal and ferrosilicon. TechnoCem® MicroSilica reacts chemically with the calcium hydroxide in the cement paste which yields a calcium silicate hydrate gel that significantly enhances strength and durability. TechnoCem® MicroSilica fills the voids between cement particles creating a very dense, less permeable concrete. TechnoCem® MicroSilica contains no added chlorides or chemicals known to promote the corrosion of steel.
